my dear friend, it has been almost a year since i chose my addiction over you.
i’ve had 9 months of bad karma. i’ve deserved every single day.
i find myself praying to a stone buddha, but he has no mercy for me.

I didn’t look back. The heaviness of that night was too much. I dreamt I was in the temple, crying and unable to move. The Buddha statue was in flames. My tears never stopped falling.
